Watching Arroyo Grande High School football practice, one thing stood out immediately: purpose.
Every drill had intent. Every correction was an opportunity to improve. Coaches weren't simply running practice—they were teaching it.
This team has both the hammer and the hand.
The players are putting in the work, and the coaching staff is shaping it. Effort is expected. Precision is being taught.
The season will tell its own story.
For now, this is the story worth telling.
The quiet work. The repeated drills. The lessons that won't appear on a scoreboard but may very well shape what happens when they do.
Sometimes the foundation of a season is built long before kickoff.
